The main theme that inspires my work is the contradictory relationship that human beings have with their environment.

 

An unbalanced relationship between two opposing forces.

 

While 'the Nature' uses all its resources to maintain the balance, the human being acts exactly the opposite, unbalancing this armony.

The unwillingness to take a long-term view and the blind rush to exploit resources stem from the one logic that remains granitic: 'profit at all cost'.

 

In my sculptures I address this theme with different materials and techniques, using paradoxes and calembours to highlight how the “Dominant Species” is inevitably fragile.
